Event Description:

As with much of the biopharmaceutical industry, the COVID-19 pandemic has complicated the dynamics between clinical sites and sponsors, particularly in the realm of contract negotiations and payments.

Significant concessions have been made by both sponsors and sites during the pandemic; some will become norms while others will be rolled back or altered to fit within the new clinical development paradigm going forward. Further, sites face cash management challenges as studies and clinical development programs reboot.

There is a clear desire to sustain the time and cost efficiencies achieved to advance COVID-19 vaccine and treatment studies – and leverage them across therapeutic areas – but managing the increasing complexity requires consistency in approach to avoid lengthy delays and site frustrations, and even more coordination and deliberate formalization of processes.

In this webinar, experts will share perspectives from negotiating tens of thousands of agreements a year – and provide guidance on how to control and accelerate negotiations and optimize site payment processes to drive further efficiencies for both sponsors and sites.
