Sharon Erickson

Sharon Erickson brings a wealth of experience, with over 30 years in the bio-pharma industry in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Sharon began her 30 year career at Genentech in the lab as a research scientist in Oncology, working on Herceptin for Her2 positive breast cancer from its inception.  In Research, she ultimately built and led the Mouse Modeling Department, responsible for all mouse model creation for products and pipeline molecules. After getting her MBA, she moved over to Genentech Product Development as a Project Team Leader responsible for lifecycle strategy and execution.  She led Oncology cross functional teams on projects that spanned all phases of the drug development cycle, from pre-IND molecules to approved products such as Avastin for Lung, GU indications and GBM.

She joined Syneos Health in 2017 as Vice President, Clinical Development, Early Phase Oncology. Sharon provides scientific expertise, strategy and leadership both internally to our Early Phase Oncology teams and externally to our Early Phase Oncology-focused clients.  Sharon resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
