The 2021 Syneos Health Rare Disease Day Symposium, held in conjunction with our partner, the Rare Disease Innovations Institute (RDII) was an opportunity to provide a unique glimpse into the rare disease world from a myriad of educational perspectives. Held virtually over the course of three days, the event brought together representatives from many facets of the rare disease community as we viewed the rare disease landscape through the specific lens of cell and gene therapies.
We’ve compiled highlights from the Symposium into this short video, where you’ll hear from top experts in rare disease, inspiring patient advocates and community leaders, all of whom are committed to advancing rare disease research and treatment.
A meeting report and summary has also been created to inform on next steps for the powerful community that was brought together and the impact they will continue to make for those effected by rare disease.
